Executive Director of Place and Housing – Bury Council
Salary circa. £119 to £130K

As Executive Director of Place and Housing you will be at the heart of making this happen.
In this role you’ll report directly to our Chief Executive and be a member of the Council’s Executive Team. You’ll lead the Business Growth and Infrastructure Department and hold corporate responsibility for implementing the place elements of the Let’s Do It Strategy. You’ll be the Council’s accountable officer responsible for the Council’s housing stock currently managed by our ALMO and for driving the delivery of our new Housing Strategy. As well as this you’ll oversee our ambitious programme of regeneration across Bury’s six towns.. You will inherit strong teams and a true partnership ethos and approach. To be a success you’ll need to demonstrate excellence in working across strategic partnerships and developing strong relationships with Members as well as our local, regional and national partners.
